Street games part 1 East Ayrshire's war: Street games transcript (text)

Red Rover, Red Rover, let Andrew come over!
Craig! Let Craig come over! Come on, hold! Hold tight! Hold tight! Hold! Hold your hardest!
Oh, he’s a dead loss.

You fold your arms and you go on to one leg. Right, you’ve got to try and get her over to your team. Oh, your foot’s down.

One of the games we played was Statues. Now, in Statues you had to use your imagination. The leader would pull people out and say an angry statue, a beautiful statue, a funny statue… and then they went round and chose the best person.

A dog statue, right? You walk round and see who you think is the best. Claire? Claire, right. Come on Claire, you do the same again then. The rest of you back to your line.

- A funny statue.

Off you go and get 4 of them. You go and get them. Pull them out.
