Evacuees
Project organiser:Loirston Primary School, Aberdeen

The project investigates the experience of being an evacuee during WWII. A number of residents of the Dundee area were evacuated to the Cove Bay area. School pupils investigated both from the evacuees’ perspective and the experience of the host families. By taking part in a re-enactment the children had the opportunity to experience being an evacuee.
