Kenny’s first page of his log book had beautifully drawn pictures depicting the badges of his own regiment the Seaforth Highlanders.

At the age of twenty six after having spent five years locked up in a prison camp he at last arrived home to be met by his brother Roddie at Fearn station to be told the sad news that his father had died and been buried only the week before.

Sadly too Kenny died in December 2004 but not before we had the privilege of having his memories recorded to share with the wider community.
